Founded in the 12th century by the monks of the St-Chaffrre Abbey (Haute Loire), the church has since undergone numerous alterations, notably in the 14th and 19th centuries. The facade and the bell tower date back to 1826. Also of note is the 14-pipe organ.
Open throughout the year to visitors - guided visits are organised by the Tourist Office.
